Pros: Plenty of ins/outs, 6.1 instead of 5.1, great power, great bang for the buck

"major thermal shutdown problems"
Pros: Nice quality sound, when it works
Cons: Had two of these, first one kept shutting down after just a minute of playing an action video DVD, replacement seems to have same problem.

Pros: best sound for the buck, as good as systems costing much more !
Cons: The el cheapo speaker wires, and the speaker connections, should be able to use the binding posts like on the reciever. The little picture frame hook on the speakers suck.
