Pros: It performed as expected for 8 months (light use)
Cons: "Protection". Inoperable. There's no reason. No abuse, not even heavy use.

Pros: At least it worked for two months. Service policy is good...they probably get lots of practice with this unit.
Cons: This is a totally unreliable system. I am sending it back for the second time. The drawer won't open, the disks won't play, and the tuner (radio) won't work.

Pros: Great sound, great picture, great features, great deal (esp. used on ebay). Just bought my second one. No problems with either set, and the hacks available on the web allow for playing of PAL disks as well
Cons: Skinny speaker wires with cheesy connectors.

Cons: had it set up for 4 months. "protection" came on and unit DOA. I'll never buy ANYTHING Samsung again..not even a stapler!

Pros: Reasonable price, if it was functional.
Cons: As noted on numerous electronics websites, this DVD changer has a known defect which causes the system to become completely inoperable. Samsung states that this is a fan problem which causes the system to say "PROTECTION" at startup, then automatically t
