Great Sound, Looks Nice and Its a Sony
Pros: Great Surround Sound. Looks Nice. Bass pretty strong. Option to use your surround speakers as loud as the front ones.
Cons: Slow DVD Changer. Can't control how low or high your BASS is going to sound
Review: Great Surround Sound. You would be impressed how much better Sony has gotten in their sound systems or at least on the cheaper ones. My sister just purchased a Panasonic SC-HT930, we have done some sound comparisson and the Sony DAV-DX250 sounds much better when watching a movie or even listening to music, it sounds like you are in the movie or at least in a movie theater. Of course some people don't know how to test a Surround Sound system, and they put an old movie or a movie that doesn't have 6 Channels or Dolby, and expect it to sound good(It will just sound like your TV speakers). Best movie to test your system with would be The House of the Flying Daggers, iRobot or/and THX movies.. My sister was impressed on how much I paid for the Sony (almost half price of the Panasonic). When I purchased this unit, there were no reviews, so I just gave it a shot, and I am glad I did. Circuit City, BestBuy etc are not yet selling these units. You would have to pay a visit to Wally (Wal-mart)
