"Great system"
Pros: speaker stands, contained surround amp, high power output, callibration remote
Cons: large(r) speakers, clunky bases on surround speakers
Summary: I pre-ordered this system after noticing it on the SonyStyle website just days after my DAVLF10/KIT arrived. It has HDMI out, a 5-disc changer, more power, stands for all 4 speakers and wireless option for the rear. The rear amplifier is also contained in the base of the rear left speaker instead of separate like the DAVLF10. Although the speakers are a bit larger and less sexy than the LF10, they produce comparable if not better sound. The IR transmitter and receiver is also better and actually difficult to block, unlike the LF10. I can walk back in forth between the units without interrupting the signal. One of the coolest features is the callibration mic. I used it last night and it determined the location and distance to each speaker perfectly and adjusted output accordingly. Nice touch Sony. My only complaint is larger speakers and stands which take up some room, and a larger, less sexy unit. However, the trade off for comparable speakers, more power, HDMI output, XM support, etc, etc is easily worth it. Oh, did I mention it's $600 less? My biggest gripe is actually interacting with Sony. They're a huge pain but I love the product.
