Sony's DVD Dream Systems are complete home-theater-in-a-box systems that include a five-disc, slot-loading DVD changer/receiver; five speakers; and a subwoofer. They range in list price from $500 to $2,000, and step-up features include bigger, tower-shaped speakers, and even wireless speakers in one model. More-expensive systems also incorporate more radical styling; the top-of-the-line DAV-LF1 has wall-mountable components and lots of glass but does away with the DVD changer.
