"Great Starter DVD system" on
Summary: I'm very happy with the YHT-24 system. I bought it from ecost.com for $500 with free shipping. I have since upgraded the front mains with Yamaha NS-6390s ($80 from Best Buy), which has helped with the sound quality greatly. I then wired 2 of the satellites in parallel for the center channel adding punch. With these additions, I am very pleased with the sound quality. Bass is still light from the Sub, but I have it in a corner, which helps it out a bunch. For under $600 I doubt one could end up with a better system.

"Solid HTIB" on
Summary: Solid entry/mid level HTIB. A/V receiver is a bargin even though the sub and satellite speakes are a little weak. Great for upgrade down the line with better speaker set.

Summary: Everything you need to set up the system in a single box. Good sound. Can spend more money to get better though.
