Pros: No need to run all those cables. Sound quality is excellent.
Cons: The OSD needs a separate video cable (provided) going to the TV. It would have been nice if they could send the OSD over the single HDMI that goes to your TV.

"Simplicity, function, good looks-all in one package."
Pros: All in one. No receiver, no excessive speaker mounting, no dealing with hiding yards of speaker wire througout room,etc.
Cons: Of course, a tru audiophile would never have a receiver but a amp and preamp. So, with that being said, individuals speakers with individual amp/pre-amp setup will always be king.
