"Well, best vector program out there, but..."
Pros: Does anything
Cons: Registration activation is HORRID after the first time
Summary: Get ready to be calling Adobe all the time unless you never change anything in your computer. Got to reload the program cuz its messed up, or reload your hard drive from scratch? Get a phone handy cuz you will have to spend 10 minutes reactivating the product which involves typing in a couple strings of numbers like when you reload Windows or Office or something. And then when you get done doing that, you get to talk to someone cuz that never seems to work. Clone your drive with Norton Ghost? Grab the phone cuz you will have to spend 10 minutes reactivating the product. Use this on your laptop any? Grab your cell phone cuz you will have to spend 10 minutes reactivating the product.
Oh, and when you are frustrated to the point of screaming because of the goofy reactivation thing, don't raise your voice to the people at the activation center, they will hang up on you.
Now, IF you can remember to manually deactivate the program from the HELP menu every time before you clone your drive, use it on your laptop, rebuild your hard drive from scratch, or whatever, you can avoid the mess, IF you can remember that is.
Fact is, unless Adobe gets this activation thing repaired somehow, they won't be getting any more money from here. Worrying about software piracy is one thing, but really pissing off your customers in the process, that's a whole other thing.
