"Widely used in the sign industry/ all the features a pro needs"
Pros: Clean readable interface - Full featured
Cons: Not as popular in DTP Industry
Summary: I am a professional designer and I used CorelDraw since version 4. I never liked Adobe because of its interface - small icons, modal windows and roll-ups do not dock etc.
I have found Corel to match Adobe in every version. I think they match perfectly. To me Corel is a lot easier to use and the interface a lot cleaner and easier to understand.
I find CorelDraw to be a bit more on the technical side of design, offering great precision very easy. That's why the sign industry prefers it. Adobe is more towards the artistic side.
