Don't upgrade yetby cameracorpus - August 15, 2008
Pros: A few more tools
Cons: Won't do multiple RAW files
Review:
This is an improvement over 4.0, but has one major glitch. With 4.0 I could open multiple RAW files. With 6.0, I can only open one at a time. I guess they want to sell Lightroom, so they changed the feature. For me, I wasted the money since I can't use this for my workflow any more. Other than that, I like the Spot Healing Tool and several other new features. For JPEG shooters, this is a decent program, I guess.

So sluggish that it is not usable, a complete waste of moneyby yakakliker - January 3, 2008
Pros: Complete set of image editing functions
Cons: so sluggish that it is basically not usable
Review:
I was very pleased with V 4 running on an old PC with windows XP. Since I bought a new ?fast? PC running windows Vista, I purchased the new version (v6) that had very good reviews in all magazines. I am very disappointed. The SW is incredibly slow, it takes basically one minute to load one image, it takes another minute to switch between fast editing menu and the advances editing menu. Also the organiser SW is terribly slow and sometimes is not able to fulfil easy commands like changing the name of a folder. It is also not able to take into account changes that have been made directly in the windows organiser.

Workspace color of poor design and cannot be changedby richardhein - November 1, 2007
Pros: Functions much like version 5
Cons: Cannot change workspace color in Editor or Organizer
Review:
The Adobe design team did an injustice to the Organizer and Editor workspace color. The background is a very dark gray charcoal color which makes using the menues and tools very difficult to see. This dark charcoal background cannot be changed and is hard coded into the software according to the tech support team from Adobe. What is also disturbing about the new interface as dark as it is when switching to or from the help system which uses a very light background is very harsh on the eyes. After much discussion with the Adobe support team I was forced to return the product and revert back to my version 5 Elements that has a much more eye appealing user interface background.
