"Why didnt such a late model HU support USB devices too?" on by Shadegate

    Pros: has an ipod connector.

Cons: doesn't connect to anything else?
no USB port for thumbdrives or other mp3 players.

Can't seem to stop the Demo display from recycling continuously.
Kind of annoying after you've watched it more than once.

Is the graph equal display even accurate?

Summary: has 18 programmable FM stations.

"Too many problems" on by burris79

Pros: It's nice not to have wires hanging out or having to go into the glove compartment.

Cons: Lot's of issues that can make it not worth having.

Summary: The track info doesn't show the band/singer. Just shows the name of the song and the subtitle to the CD. Now and then it forgets that you set it to shuffle. It has randomly left iPod and went back to radio. The cold seems to have a drastic affect and sometimes wiped the memory of the radio and you are forced to reset your presets and what-not. I've even had the whole thing shut down and stop working. I've had to pull it out and reconnect it and then it comes right back on and I have to reset it. I've recently contemplated going back to the stock radio. All that's stopping me right now is that I really enjoy being able to secret the iPod away.

"Awsome looking for another" on by sslester

Pros: Easy install, Looks good, everyone likes the screen saver, ipod is always ready to go never dead never lost between seats on the end of the cord. When I shut off vehicle song pauses till restart.

Cons: Does not have shuffle function so always plays alphebetical, I Might be wrong haven't read the manual yet.

Summary: Bottom line I drive a jeep wrangler, so I didn't want an Ipod rolling around or hanging out in the weather or thieving eyes view. This thing is great looks like a regular deck but I always have my Ipod, charged and ready to go. Other review said it was flimsy but if you've ever riden in an old wrangler you know this thing takes the bumps just like me.
I found this site looking for another one to buy wish I bought two, and as for future ipods I have 8 gigs now could put a bigger on of the current/older ones in with current adapter plates but don't see this as a problem. I mean really oh no I Can only have one of the classic 200gb ones how will I ever live, LOL

"Flimsy construction doomed this receiver to failure." on by jsmarik

Pros: It looked good and sounded good during the brief times it was functional.

Cons: It is a poorly crafted unit that managed to to leave the factory with many small problems and suffered 100% failure in only 2 weeks.

Summary: Right out of the box, it had problems. Despite my iPod being listed as supported and in fact having a sleeve that fit it, most functions worked only intermittantly, some not at all. I could only search for playlists and I could only play them in order - from the beginning. The graphics began dying within days before going completely dark after 10 days. The face plate fit poorly over the head unit and had to be closed "just right" to make it work. If I was inserting or removing my iPod, I often had to spend a few frustrating minutes making 5 or more attempts to get the faceplate properly aligned. After 2 weeks, the unit died altogether. Fusion had a great idea; they failed in it's execution.
