Summary: All the colors appear too dark. There is a purple hue everywhere! Basically good for a non photo printer only. Arg!

Pros: Good quality for personal printer.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Summary: My wife and I have been using this printer for her scrapbooking book and she simply loves it. For the price less that $100 you get great quality home prints, are they as clear as professional no but for a home printer it can't be beat. You won't be disappointed. Canon heavy paper works best.

Cons: Kind of flimsy
Summary: This is a great little printer for the money. Of course the ink cost will consume you with almost any inkjet printer, but this one works hard and does a good job, so that the cost does not seem to be such a bother.
I have had no mechanical problems, no printhead issues, no driver issues (on Mac), and have printed over 250 pictures, along with tons of text, and have not been disappointed. Called Canon with questions and they were helpful.

Pros: Fast Text Printing
Cons: Can't print Gray in Photos. Gray comes out magenta,
Summary: Tried different papers. Different setting, auto and manual. Talked to Canon. Nothing helped. If you don't print photos, I suppose this printer would be OK.
