Pros: great color prints, fairly compact for a 13x19 printer
Cons: awful B&W prints, tricky to use
Summary: I purchased to to replace my R800 printer and to be honest I was expecting more than I got. I compared prints between the two and realized that out of the box, the R1900 isn't as good. I had to work on adjusting both Photoshop and the Epson print software to find the best balance for what I am printing (mostly landscapes and portraits). I still find the prints I am getting to be softer than on my old R800 though the oranges are indeed better with a dedicated ink cartridge. B&W prints have a blue cast which is typical for these pigment printers. I suspect that the printer needs further adjusting to get it to where I expect it to be.
