Pros: I like the speed, quality and the look or design of the printer

Cons: Typical Epson ink...use up fast if you print a lot, but I am used to it because I have had several Epson printers over the last few years.

Summary: I love Epson printers and this one is a very good one once you get the right working machine. I had a R280 brand new that never worked from the time I opened the box and installed it. The paper feed always stopped, not stuck, just stopped in the middle of it getting fed and no printing started. I got the ink and paper light flashing red simontaniously. I called to get help with this and Epson and there was no resolving the problem so they were very good about getting me a new one lightning fast. My replacement printer works great. No problems so I rate the printer hightly. I hope you don't get a lemon at first. I think Epson did away wtih all the bad ones and that is why they are so easy to replace the lemons if you so happen to get one. I got mine on Ebay so stear away from Ebay sold printers of this model. Or, maybe I was the unlucky one to get one out of 10 thousand that was a lemon and they may be ok to buy them from an ebay seller. The price was great on Ebay, but the old proberb...you get what you pay for.

I love Epson printers. The R280 works great, if you gt a machine that works. I bought an R280 from Ebay and when I got it and installed it, it wouldn't work. The paper feed just stopped and flashed the ink light and the paper light in red, simontaneously. I contaced Epson and they walked me through a few steps and came to the conculsion that it was a lemon so they sent me a brand new one and it worked great. So, I dont know what to tell you about Ebay purchase for this printer. Maybe I was just the unlucky one to get one in 10 thouseand that was a lemon...it was a great price and free shipping but I guess the old porberb stays ture...you get what you pay for. All in all this printer is very good and I am a picky person when it come to quality printing. You just have to adjust your printer settings and get the right paper according to your print job. Photos should be printed on glossy paper so adjust your setting to gloss or ultimate gloss.
