"DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRINTER FOR MACINTOSH !!!"
Pros: Fast / Wireless / Free shipping (Usually Overnight ) on ink if you purchase 3 ink cartridges from the Epson store.
Cons: Noisy. Uses up expensive inks FAST. On Macintosh, Epson has a pop-up ink indicator that appears ( you cannot disable this ) on EVERY single document ! You have to wait or click out of the pop-up to move to a new record. Poor print quality.

"Fast inkjet printer, lousy networking"
Pros: Fast printing, 4 different ink cartridges, light weight, low power consumption, nice slick black case.
Cons: Flimsy paper feeder extension and output tray when extended. Two different printers had problems printing through a wired router saying that they had paper jam problems when there obviously weren't any jams.

Pros: Very good text and line graphics, quite fast, they have not jammed once. Wired network setup fast and reliably on our 1GB net with six PCs feeding them. quieter than HP4550N.
Cons: Color is less than photo but fully satis for the office work. Input tray <100sheets could be bigger. Plastic in and out trays seem light-duty but have worked ok. Have not tried wireless or USB and likely won't.

Pros: Easy to set up, easy to use. Fast printing. Great color/photo prints. Needed a wireless printer only, not a multi-functional and I love Epson's quality.
