"very good value"
Pros: Very good text and line graphics, quite fast, they have not jammed once. Wired network setup fast and reliably on our 1GB net with six PCs feeding them. quieter than HP4550N.
Cons: Color is less than photo but fully satis for the office work. Input tray <100sheets could be bigger. Plastic in and out trays seem light-duty but have worked ok. Have not tried wireless or USB and likely won't.
Summary: I liked the first enough that I purchased two more for work, and one for home.. Paid $99 at Staples for each.
I've used only extra-large cap size for black. Haven't gone through color carts yet. Black carts seem to have lasted as long as I expected, despite fairly high output for this printer model and >5% black coverage.
These units seem to be reliable and the network interface has given me no bad surprises. It was simple to setup even on our large academic 1000bT network.
These printers replaced an HP4550N and two HP 1100 officejet printers.
These printers met all my expectations for use and quality so far, and at the price, they are of great value.
