"Paper jammed from day 1" on by Alexandra_X
Pros: It looked nice sitting on the shelf (gathering dust)
Cons: never got to use it since it couldn't pull any kind of paper through without getting immediately jammed. And HP support & "warranty" were a joke.
Summary: HP refused to let me return it, and the guy from whatever country who was "assisting" me couldn't understand anything I said it seemed. So I bought a 200 dollar printer that never ONCE worked & HP thought that was reasonable apparently. I tried all sorts of paper, readjusting all the tray settings, etc. I'm guessing it was just a fluke in this particular machine, but they should have replaced it or something.

"Great printer!!" on by mytwosents
Pros: Money saver on ink!
Cons: Ink has got on the three rollers inside.
Summary: This is a wonderful printer worth every penny spent on it. I have had it 3 years and I am just now replacing the black ink!!
I couldn't be more thrilled about this printer. The only thing that has ever been a problem is somehow ink got onto the three rollers inside and has printed lines down a few pages but all I had to do is wipe them off and that fixed it.
So if your looking too buy a printer I would highly recommend this one. -

"Great Printer" on by jmajor
Pros: The quality of the print, the speed.
Cons: not much to complain
Summary: great printer. Picture are extremely good. I print lot of picture and it is one of the best printer I have owned. It beat the canon and the epson by a huge margin. The color are more durable, the tone are more natural. The speed is there. Never have any problem at all. Can't say the same with my canon (now in the city dump)and the epson (It cost more in ink and repair than 4 hp 5550. If you want quality and reliability for with HP. If you love trouble shooting (or maybe just shooting) get yourself a canon or an Epsonl
