"TERRIBLE Printing Quality" on by bryguy2215

Pros: NONE! Absolutely nothing good to say about it!!

    Cons: Terrible quality. :(

Summary: Really NOTHING good about this piece of garbage. OK quality at first, but later on the quality just crashes. More than once has this printer screwed me up because I couldn't get my color documents printed on time.

Pros: I like it because is cheap and have a good printing quality

Cons: The small capacity of cartridges that it cames with.

Summary: It has a lot of programmable printing mods. Personaly I like fast draft for school documents and High Quality printing for photos.

"Brand new and doesn't work" on by hp_is_crap

    Pros: Can't say anything good - it's a printer that doesn't print.

Cons: I don't like this printer because IT WON"T PRINT.
    What more can I say?
Lots of other people have reported the same problem.

Summary: I bought this new HP Deskjet D1560 which rejects its own black cartridge as incompatible.
After ringing the HP help desk (in India, I think) they emailed me an authorization letter so that I could have the printer replaced. I went back to the shop, got a brand new printer and cartridges, took it home, and...
...I had exactly the same problem again.
I'll go and get a refund tomorrow and then buy a decent printer, maybe a Canon.

"Didn't work brand new. Support n/a." on by tetefrommage

    Pros: Nothing. It never worked.

Cons: Unpacked/assembled per instructions. Installed software which took a long time, apparently HP puts tons of software on your machine. Software reported "incompatible cartridge" for the black. Called tech support, no help after 5 people and 2 hours.

Summary: If you buy this printer, you better hope it works, because support is non-existent. I first reached someone probably in India who asked for name, phone, email, model and serial number. She then transferred me to tech support (after I had already selected tech support from the automated phone help in the beginning). 20 minutes of hold, dude finally picks up. Asks me for name, phone, and email. Asks me for model. Then asks if it is an "All-In-One" printer. Of course I said no (wouldn't that be obvious from the model?) Says he can only help with All-In-One printers, transfers me to another dude. 20 minutes on hold. Dude picks up, asks for name, phone, and email. Asks for model number. Says he can't help me with that model, says he has to transfer me to someone else. I've been on hold for 35 minutes since, still just bad music in a short loop.
