Good print quality.
Cost of ownership through the roof. You are better off going to a copy shop by far, if you do not mind the inconvenience.
There are better alternatives. The in-the-door price is nice. But, one way or the other, you will pay many times more in the process. Why not just pay it upfront and own a better printer with a lower total cost of ownership?
It's $29. Great bang for the buck. Refill cartridges are $15 each. Good for every day print jobs.
Takes forever to power off. Too much paper in tote means jam.
I purchased this printer for an every day printer. It was $29 and it does a fine job for what it was designed for. My big reason for the purchase is how cheap refill cartridges are. Around $15 with tax. I print all my documents on "economy" to save ink.
So for school or a home based business, this printer works great for what it is!

Jams easily, takes forever to power off, buying another one of these printers is still cheaper then buying more ink and has poor Windows 7 support
A cheap printer that keeps within the saying "you get what you pay for." It has a very poor build quality.
