"HP Customer Support is the worst in history"
Pros: Probably a good printer if it would print color
Cons: HP Customer support is world class BAD _ worst experience I've ever had. I still have a headache 24 hours later.
Summary: This probably is a good printer, but it only prints B&W for me (Vista Home). I bought this printer based on CNET reviews. I told the HP rep where I bought this printer of my previous horrendous experiences with HP support. No problem, he said, just insist on being transfered to level 2 support. Ha! I might have well have asked for an audience with the Pope.
They should rename Customer Support to Clueless Customer Aggravation. What language is it they speak in that country? What scripts are the CSR working from? It was an insanely bad experience.
I will never buy an HP product again if there is any viable alternative. Too bad HP - you used to be such a good company.Updated
Once you get the right drivers loaded, this is not a bad printer, especially for the price. Crisp text, good color rendition, reasonably fast. I am re-rating this printer as an 8. If you are running Vista, skip the CD in the box and go straight to the HP driver update site and save yourself hours of aggravation.
Do not waste your time calling HP customer support in New Delhi. They are worse than useless. I still rate HP customer support as argurably the worst in the industry
