4 years, and still love it!!
Pros: What can I say, every print job is great. It's quiet, and fairly quick. Photo printing is as sharp and rich in color as a real photo lab pic. Graphics design jobs are always sharp and vivid (even better if using HP Premium Plus paper). Uploaded drivers fo
Cons: The only complaint I have always had is it uses up the ink cartridges fast. The only reason I would buy a newer model would be because they offer higher resolution such as the HP Photosmart 7960. But, for now, I'm still happy with this one.

Great printer, great pics, good price
Pros: I love my printer. I can do almost anythign with it. Everything I print comes out great. It gives numerous notices when it is close to running out of ink. I love it. Of course, I didn't buy it. My father bought it for me.
Cons: I don't know of any, but I'm not a computer geek!

Long lasting
Pros: My mom owns the HP PhotoSmart P1100. (not the same printer, but I can't find that printer on here) It's very similar to this printer. Anyway, she's had it for almost four years now, and it's still working. My mom is a person who prints lots and lots of
Cons: When the cartridges slide, it sounds like it's going to fall apart. (I assume from all the printing) The ink cartridges are expensive, especially the big ones which are at least $50. The smaller ones are more like $30, but they don't last too long. Th

Never Worked Right In Two Years!
Pros: Print quality is up there with the best.
Cons: Everything is buggy. I would be half-way through a print job and the thing would freeze up and would have to reboot whole system to reinstall faulty drivers. I wrote HP many times about this but never was resolved. Ink is very expensive and couple this

Doesn't deserve cnet's high rating
Pros:
Cons: The tray for the 4x6 paper frequently jams; the expensive paper gets jammed and ruined. The pictures in Photo-Ret mode look awful. Then when I tell it to use the highest resolution, the print driver uts up a warning dialog.

Poor Quality Photo Prints
Pros:
Cons: Cost of ink. I have an HP Photosmart 100 - the 1215 photos are fuzzy compared to the prints fromm the 100. Other reviews rate this printer as good - maybe I have a lemon. It doesn't read a very wide variety of removable memory media.
