"Best Printer under $1000"
Pros: Print quality, ease of use, ink consumption
Cons: none to mention
Summary: I just got this printer the other day on a great deal from a local vendor. But because I spend $30,000 a year at B&H and because I love this printer so much I had to post this review here.
I got the printer for album creation for weddings and also some 11x14 enlargements.
When I got the printer home it took a little over an hour to setup and profile the paper I was going to use. It was easy, just time consuming. Once I got the printer setup I made my first prints. I did a few test prints to hang in my office and was blown away. This printer can hang with many of the greats like the epson 3800, 2400 and 1800 and crushes the canon 9500.
So yesterday I did a print job for an album for a client and let it dry for 24hours. I mounted the prints today in the album and presented it to a client. The client was extatic and just was so amaze at the quality of the prints in the album. I then asked the customer to tear the albm up in a review and really examin the prints. She asked why and I said because I said I used a new printer and wanted her opinion. She said she thought the prints were from a lab. Thats how good this printer is.
