"I'm not impressed! It may barely live it's warranty!"2.0 starson by johng1970
Pros: It came installed in the laptop.
Cons: My 40 Gigabyte is still going strong and no signs of problems. S.M.A.R.T. is detecting serious problems on this drive, similiar drive already died last year, and have 1 more of the exact same drive that will likely start acting up soon.
Summary: It's really sad that the computer manufactures have no clue what consumers want. They look at their kids, and ask them what they want. Being they don't pay for it, they want the biggest and fastest of everything! They then say great! I can build it cheaper, sell millions, give my kid one and they'll be happy. So they cut corners, make them cheaper, and they for some reason don't last as long. Gosh, no suprise my laptop that's about 2 years older than the desktop is faster (despite the slower speed cpu and less memory), more reliable, and can run software the desktop has problems running. Good Job Western Digital. There used to be a day when your drives lasted!
