"Won't last, warranty no good"

Cons: Only lasts about 6 months, won't honor 3 year warranty
Summary: I purchased one of these drives in hopes it would be the last drive I would need to purchase for a long time. It worked fine for about 6 months and being an 8Meg cache it was supposed to have a 3 year warranty. Western Digital replaced it with a 2Meg cache drive and when I tried to get an 8Meg cache drive to replace the drive I sent in, they refused to do anything about it. The 2Meg cache drive lasted about the same amount of time.
