"Overly technical cumbersome and ineffective"
Pros: less system resources than others
Cons: I found this product to be overly technical which led to virus infections on multiple computers (had multiple subscription). McAfee and Norton are better products especially for people who want a set it and forget it virus software.
Summary: The software failed to detect two different viruses on two different computers. It seems that their library may not be upadated as often or as thoroughly as McAfee or Norton's. The price is equivalent to the other two as well. The user interface is complicated - especially for the average user. I would reccommend goin with either of the two more mainstream products. FYI - this is the first review I have ever done and I am doing do to a pure dissatisfaction with the product. I have a highly technical background in the computer field for over 16 years. I hope this helps some of you to make an informed decision and good luck.

Couldn't agree more. As a very experienced IT professional (20+) I find after using earlier versions of Kaspersky that were OK, this one is a user's bog. Hardly helpful, not difficult to setup (but NO user's manual??) but totally obscure to use effectively. And the "Help" function is Helpless. The first clue was the tediously slow update download and initial scan. Could you have ever imagined that this version would be so bad as to make one prefer WIndows Firewall ??
