"Terrible, good Lord!"
Pros: Does McAfee has any pros?
Cons: Everything else that McAfee comes with
Summary: In simple word, it is terrible. If I haven't purchased the license fo one year, I would have chosen my all time fav Windows Live OneCare that used to work like a charm, but silly me, I wanted to try something else.
McAfee has slow down my laptop dramatically and it's CPU Usage when scanning stays at 100% for full two hours on "quick scan"
Do not buy this product, please!

I agree -- it highjacked my computer. Note you can only fully uninstall this nightmare by going to mcpr.notlong.com. Otherwise it will still be in many many files on your machine. Truly an awful product. Microsoft tech support is well aware that this product causes many of the common connection problems with the ie browser.

I have been using Mcafee Internet Security Suite for 3 years. It provides very good protection but it is very very slow when doing a full system scan. I think as long as it is updated everyday, it may not be necessary to do the scan so often. I only do a full system scan once a month when I do not need to use my PC. Next year I will be trying Bitdefender Internet Security.
