I think this is all you'll need for total protection of your PC! Any PC actually, its great for your home PC and kids computers!
It scans files quickly, and of course, has a very easy to use interface. Everything is there and ready to use in the security center.

I replaced Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 with this on all three of my machines. Night and Day difference. BitDefender uses approximately HALF the resources of TM. I am quite impressed with the suite of applications that come with Total Protection 2008. I didn't give service and support a 10 because they did not get back to me about a potential issue...that I solved on my own. Parental Controls can really slow the suite down...if you don't need it ..don't activate it...and this suite is FAST FAST FAST. If you use parental controls...expect your Windows to take about a minute longer to start. But the protection you get with this suite is WELL worth it.

Lucky me i can say,,,after reading some of the other brand name security bad luck issues,it really put a smile on my face having this software runnin on my system.Coz this software was so easy to install that only took me bout 10 mins plus a few additional mins to update software n after that,i was runnin on my normal routine,,,surfin!!! i never had any single probs since i installed it for about 2 weeks straight now using my pc for 14 hrs straight everyday nonstop.never had a slow down and everytime i try to diagnosed a problem or cleaned up my system using advanced windowscare v2,never seen any security problem issues.this mcafee run so smooth on my system,i never had any slow downs even once.im very happy to recommend this software...
