Cons: Hang, crash and burn non-stop in Windows XP, Support unresponsive
Summary: The last versions of this program were excellent. This one is nothing but crash and hang for me. Three tickets to support, still waiting for a response or a refund three weeks later. Spybot is free and it works. This has become a very annoying and poor piece of software. I hope they straighten it out and do something about customer support soon or I will uninstall and accept the loss of money for the program.

I used this on a friend's computer that had never been scanned for spyware. The first time it ran it found over 800 items to get rid of, and it got rid of all but three. Two out of the three show that they are removed for about 10 seconds, then they are back. The third never leaves. (I realize that nothing is perfect). The problem with the program, is that it constantly interrupts what she is working on, with a large pop-up screen to say it found something new, and asking what she wants to do with it. I use another program, and don't have that annoyance.
