"XP computers will not shut down once installed"
Pros: interface looks nice.
Cons: Two different XP based fully patched PC's will not shut down once the new version is installed. I have even followed the advice of those on the ZA forums to perform a clean install.
Summary: Not ready for Prime Time. Used ZASS for years and really am hoping they will fix this issues. Other users have reported the same issue and indicate that Technical support stopped responding to the logs he/she sent in.
This release is just not ready for Prime Time! what a shame.

I found that it took a ridiculous amount of time to shut down, but XP finally did shut down. My way of dealing with it was shutting ZoneAlarm down before XP. XP will then shut down much quicker. Of course, one probably does not want to shut down a firewall and AV scanner without physically disconnecting from the network, which is what I do.
