Average features
Pros: None I know of
Cons: Slow startup, Proprietary database, Awful built-in anti-spam
The WPMail program itself is very slow to load, over two minutes. I installed Service Pack 1 and it crashed the program every time I tried to use the anti-spam portion of the program. I finally had to uninstall the Service Pack and reinstall the entire program. Corel said it was because a DLL file was in the wrong folder. I made their recommended changes and IT DID NOTHING.
I'm now dumping Corel WPMail for Eudora 7. Now that I want to swtich I find that Corel WPMail will not export its database to Eudora, Microsoft or any other programs. It's a proprietary database.

Nice Alternative to Outlook, but needs more features
Pros: Easy set-up, easy interface and great search function
Cons: Does not support read receipt email, and it need a better calendar feature
Well, after another three months using WPMail, I have decided to go back to Outlook (Ugh!) Several glitches I found created problems for me, including the fact there is no way (that I can determine) to configure to delete mail from the server when I download messages. My server ran out of space, as I retain all my messages in nested folders. I also get a lot of attachments and like Outlook's ability to copy attachments and "paste" them into new messages which WPMail does not allow.
Beware - migrating from Outlook to WPMail is easy (it easily imports Outlook messages), but reverse migration is impossible. WPMail uses .mbox format which Outlook does not recognize.
Well, I gave it a good try, but too many issues that I don't have time to deal with, so back to Outlook for me.
