"Mouse is jumpy, even at very close range"
Pros: Keyboard has a nice feel. Battery life is reasonable.
Cons: Keyboard is lacking Caps and Num -lock lights. The mouse is jumpy, even when right next to the receiver. If you need precise mouseing, eg for graphics work or video games, you're better off with a wired mouse.

Pros: no wires!
Cons: My new mouse has stopped working 2 days out of the two days I have owned it. Rebooting solved the problem. Irritating to have it suddenly quit & need to re-boot. Obviously not a battery issue since only 2 days old.

"Cannot be relied on from 1 day to next"
Pros: Wireless
Cons: From one day to next no guarantee that keyboard will work. Indicators show that keyboard is transmitting to receiver but no characters appear! Solution? Reboot and if that doesnt work reboot again

Pros: The wireless approach is very nice.
Cons: The range on the sensor is very limited. With the slightest battery wear the devices skip letters here and there.
