"Model 64379 - finish defects - Avoid it!"
Pros: Nice to look at (for a brief while)
Cons: Crummy finish, clunky mouse, worthless tech support
Summary: Received my 64379 wireless desktop as a warranty replacement for another piece of cr*p that was discontinued.
Within 2 weeks, finish on lower part of keyboard started wearing away, exposing black plastic below.
Contact with Kenington's Calcutta-based tech support has been worthless. While they have offered to replace keyboard with a new one, they declined request for a different model. They also refuse to answer questions about finish defects on this model, leading me to suspect that I will receive another turd as a warranty replacement.
The wireless mouse is a big clunker that will exhibit lots of drag once the tiny feet wear a bit. Not major - can be fixed with $2 worth of teflon tape - but why go through the aggravation on NEW equipment.
Once the finish on my replacement turdboard is shot, I'll send the lot to the junk drawer and go out and buy a new logitech wireless desktop.
Save yourself the aggravation and avoid this manufacturer's offerings to start with.
