"CAREER SAVING KEYBOARD, PRICE WORTH IT"
Pros: Very efficient, low-force keys; very comfortable after getting used to it; The curve keywell and hand separation and tilt make it easy on the hands; excellent macro facility for repeated key sequences.
Cons: A small con that is outweighed by the many pros. The could have used regular low-force keys for the function keys instead they are rubber-like (calculator-like) keys.
Summary: This keyboard saved my career as a professional systems engineer. It is extremely efficient and uses light force Cherry MX keys. The price is well worth a saved career. I got used to it within a week and after that could type above normal speed. I use it with a Cirque touchpad which fits perfectly in the middle. I use two of them, one as a spare. I carry one to work since the USB feature makes it easy to use anywhere. I've had other friends with RSI try out the keyboard only to become its strongest fans. It has also saved their careers. The mechanical key switches are totally different from membrane switches on cheap keyboards. They emit an artificial click so that you stop depressing the key before it hits bottom. Hence, there is not jarring effect on the hand unlike cheap keyboards.
Give this keyboard a week to adjust and you will love it. Don't put the price of a keyboard above your career. RSI can hit anyone and I've personally known people who never though they would get it and they did. The Kinesis saved them.
