"Worked for 4 months, No Logitech Support, Worthless now" on by yaknuts81

Pros: Looks great, slim, worked flawlessly for first 4 months, mac specific keys. rechargeable battery

Cons: After 4 months, the keyboard would intermittently generate gibberish key strokes. Logitech support is non-existent: they do not accept emails, their phone support number is disconnected, and they do not monitor the "support forums."

Summary: Logitech's horrible support really ruined this product for me. As stated above, the keybaord worked flawlessly for 4 months, then keys started generating extra characters, making the keyboard completely unusable. For example the "o" key simultaneously toggles caps lock and generates "Option+o," popping up an open file dialog. I have upgraded to Snow Leopard, but others have complained of this problem on Logitech's support forums who have not upgraded to Snow Leopard.

I don't have a problem with a product breaking but after weeks of trying I have yet to get in touch with a single person at Logitech except the auto generated emails saying they will get back to me within 48 hours . . . no dice.

Save your money and wait for a better mac option. If I could do it again, I would have bought Apple's wireless keyboard because it is cheaper, probably would last longer than 4 months, and if I had a problem I could at least walk into an Apple Store.

    "Reassuringly Expensive" on by csshad

Pros: Nice keyboard feedback. Easy installation & bluetooth synch. Good trackpad. Mac optimised hot keys. Looks great

Cons: Scrolling can occasionally be flaky. Expensive

Summary: This Logitech is a pleasure. Yes, it's expensive, but you can certainly see where the money went - everything just works as it should. The physical keyboard feedback is snappy & there's no typing lag; the trackpad is sufficiently sensitive to be used as your main input device; and the horizontal & vertical scroll areas are well implemented. In addition, the device is light, thin & pleasingly stylish. Overall i'm delighted with the Logitech & i recommend it most highly.
