"A huge step backward"
1.5 starson by scodavisPros: Same as the old G15
Cons: 8 Macro keys instead of 18
Summary: This is supposed to be an upgrade from the last G15 keyboard but ends up being a HUGE downgrade because of the lopping off of 10 macro keys. This is supposed to be a gaming keyboard and while I like the LCD screen I'm taking this baby straight back to the store and get a G11. I can live without the lcd screen, I cannot live with 10 less macro keys. What was Logitech thinking?
Duneti, you obviously don't understand what I'm talking about.

ALL of Logitech's keyboards have three setting at the top. 18 X 3 = 54 possible macro keys.
8 X 3 = 24 total macro keys. As I said in my review, this keyboard has far less (30, to be exact) programmable macros by only having EIGHT macro keys TIMES 3 than my current keyboard, a Logitech G510 which has EIGHTEEN keys times the 3 presets.
Math is really important in understanding these things.

You don't know what you are talking about, Duneti. I now own a G510, and as stated IN MY POST, I owned a G15 keyboard, so I know how to use it. It has LESS macro keys and is a step backward. End of story.
I understand there are three presets at the top of the keyboard. -
Hadi scodavis, if you look just above the G keys;there are a row of four buttons! With M1-M2-M3/and on the end the last key is marked MR ! Open GamePanel Manager which is on the right side on the taskbar, click on settings, And Start Reading: And you will find where, how to use the 18 Macro keys.
Wisdom is not something you Have ; Wisdom is somthing you Use.
