"Not worth the price" on by Hydrops
Pros: Ability to change key colors fast, nice lcd, metal volume control handy
Cons: Just cannot type fast with it, 9 out of 10 times when fast typing capital letters, I press shift+letter and it won't type capital letters, I've got to go back and type slowly which is extremely annoying.
win 7 x64Summary: I regret having brought this keyboard, will not recommend it

"awesome keyboard" on by l4nce0
Pros: Really solid look. A nice level of quality. LCD is very bright. awesome color changes
Cons: Sure it's pretty expensive. It is also several jumps above a G15, and anything except a optimus on the market. I would like the hinges to be a real metal, not a plastic.USB cable is a bit short
Summary: Okay it's 200 bucks. It's also something you use every day. You can get half a new video card, or maybe go to starbucks 30 times, or you can get this. Logitech has never let me down, and this keyboard is solid,

"Great keyboard, with a few issues." on by MrOverDose
Pros: The keys have a really nice feel to them and the overall build quality is as you would expect from Logitech. The changeable backlight colour is a nice extra, especially if you have a G9 to go with it. The wrist-support is great to prevent wrist ache.
Cons: - The screen scratches really easily, and because it's glossy, when light shines on it, it does really spoil the looks.
- The top line of buttons don't have changeable backlighting unless you only use orange.Summary: Being a big Logitech fanboy and owning most of their G-series equipment, I was really excited to see this badboy's release.
The main feature, 'the LCD screen', is sadly rather disappointing. Although it does enable you to do more than with the old G15 screen, like watch youtube, I really only found myself using the performance monitor, the media manager(which still doesn't support winamp) and the clock. All three are features the g15 will also for a lot less money, granted all in colour instead of black and white. When you would ever want to watch youtube on a tiny screen when you have a big monitor infront of you, I have no idea.
All in all though, for gamers, the G19 is an excellent keyboard with it's G-keys. The high level build quality, and great feel, do make this a top-end keyboard. Not sure if it's worth the hefty price tag. I'd recommend the G15 for price/value, but if you love logitech as much as i do, and you don't mind dipping deep into your pocket, the G19 definately isn't a bad choice. -
"sharp looking" on by mgcurtis67
Pros: pros: the lcd monitor is sharp for its small size. the ability to change the color scheme is awesome and very easy to do. the layout of the keys are a tad tight but nothing that any cant get used to.
Cons: cons: the movie player does not work and the youtube player does work. i have turned them off for now.
Summary: bottem-line i would not recommend buying this keyboard at this time. logitech needs to spend more time fixing bugs. when i got the keyboard i was running vista and just updated to windows 7 pro and exact same probs with the video player.only rated this keyboard a 2.5 because only half the functions work at this time.

"Buggy LCD software, not worth the price" on by rosshar
Pros: None None None
Cons: Some LCD Applets do not work
No digital clock LCD applet
Poor product support
Limited documentation on Applet SDKSummary: I would *not* recommend purchasing this keyboard. It is too expensive and too buggy.
I was not able to get some of the applets to run on the LCD (RSS Feed and email). Also the movie player will not run some file types even though it will load them into the LCD. I contacted Logitech support and it took them 10 days (they say they respond in 24 hours) to send me an email with a link to somewhere else that had a link to somewhere else, which wasn't even my problem.
There is also no digital clock for the LCD. I had to create a program with the Logitech SDK to make my own digital LCD clock, which was quite an ordeal (you have to know how to program Win32 C GUIs and also have to have Microsoft Visual Studio), and I haven't been able to get the applet to run on my home computer because of missing DLLs that I still can't find. So I wasted a week coding this for nothing. Sad.
Don't be stupid like me...Don't buy the G 19.
