"Great keyboard!"on by hunandude
Pros Natural-feeling curve, quiet keys, comfortable, unifying receiver
Cons No major ones, not the most portable keyboard due to media keys placement and non-detachable palmrest.
Summary I've had it for about a month and had no problems with it. It's comfortable, quiet, works from across the room and doesn't lag. It works right out of the box but you can install the software for more programmable shortcuts. Overall a fantastic home / office keyboard.
"works like a charm"on by zdevil78
Pros took about a minute to install. My last wireless keyboard (which I returned) kept shutting off and requiring me to turn it off and on, or unplug and replug the USB key, etc. This keyboard and mouse worked from the very get go and has not given me any pr
Cons none, really. I guess my only gripe is I wish the universal USB key worked w/ my logitec headset.
Pros Loved the dedicated media keys.
Cons Wrists hurt after 5 minutes of use. There really isn't much to the ergonomics of this keyboard, just a VERY slight curve that makes it "look" ergonomic. If you've every had problems with your wrists, give this one a pass.
Summary I really wanted to love this keyboard as my old MS one needs replaced, but it just wasn't to be. Returned it after one day because my wrists were killing me...as bad as if I were typing on a straight keyboard. Only thing I liked about it were the dedicated media keys--easier to use than on my old MS keyboard.
Pros Logitech good reputation
Cons Poor functionality, keyboard send the keypresses suddenly to computer even I am not using the device.
Relatively silent keys once pressed.
Serious functionality problems
Summary Normally Logitech devices are good on quality but this device does not go to that category at all. I have to return this back to shop after use of 4 days. Keypad functionality is poor, suddenly keyboard send the keypresses even I am not using this device. Very dissapointing, confusing and unpleasant.
Pros The over all design is wonderful. (I have the older version of this keyboard that is why I got the updated version) the key feel is good and the overall look too.
Cons NO MAC SUPPORT!!!!!!! No mac user support!!! and No help in working out a workaround even when the user is willing to help Logitech do the work!
Summary The crazy part is that this dam thing works but only if you remove their LCC software. the keys map correctly and all the media keys work just fine (under 10.6.4). However if you use any of Logitech's mice you can no longer program them. So you have a choice, ether program the mouse and pic a different keyboard (taking up a valuable USB port) or remove the software and just use the basic mouse functions.
Neither choice is a good one!!
I gave the keyboard 2 stars because it is what I want... But I think Logitech deserves only a quarter star for the lack of support of the mac.
I, for one, will not be recommending ANY of their products to my clients.
BTW to add insult to injury with regard to this issue Logitech in their wisdom closed the forum posts where users of this keyboard were discussing ways of working on this issue. Take a look: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Keyboard-and-Keyboard-Mice/K350-wireless-keyboard-on-a-Mac/m-p/461837
You tell me does any of this make sense?
