"Good, but has it's quirks, use it w/trackball & Mouse"3.5 starson by SJenkinsTX
Pros: I liked the idea of the unifying RXvr system, needed to buy new keyboard, old Logitech died after 8 years. Feel is good and functions fine (after I found work around for quirks).
Cons: Quirks: Programmable keys don't alway do what they're supposed to. Example: Reprogramed Media Center key to bring up Outlook Email. When pressed for the first time after booting or setting a while it aways brought up Media Center instead.
Summary: Trial and error has shown, as found in other forums that keyboard seems to go to sleep while on my desktop pc. Found that if I hit the space bar a time or two, then press my programed keys all is well. Had to get trackball so I could use right hand while in a sling for 3 months. Worked w/friends MS wave and found it uncomfortable, this one feels good, and while stuck with 1 handed typing didn't have trouble with curve. Needed programable keyboard, mouse, and trackball (on same USB port. I did have to go online and get alternate version of software, as version that came with keyboard and trackball wouldn't work, after that it has certainly filled the bill. Side note, now the wife can use the mouse for gaming at the same time I use the trackball, don't have to swap back and forth.
