Pros small footprint, light and responsive rechargeable mouse, tons of useable functionality, and a simple look.
Cons I wish it had a rotary dial for volume control, and the software.
Summary I had the logitech mx duo, which was a great keyboard, but the effort used to type on this one is much less; the keystrokes are much smoother. I didn't much like the curve at first but after getting accoustomed to it it is alomst second nature and regular keyboards seem primitive.
I miss the rotary dial from my mx duo for volume control but this one makes up for that with great functionality.
"Good.. so far"on by larryflowers
Pros Excellent tactile response, feels good
Cons Miss the right hand numeric keypad
Summary I like this keyboard. It takes a little getting used to due to the layout of the specialty keys. Its compact size is a plus and it just feels right when I type on it. Its' too new to comment on battery life, I'll comment on that when I can.
It isn't cheap but it is very well made and the mouse in particular has a great feel. Shop it around, you can find 15-20% discounts easily. Don't use the included software, go to the Microsoft hardware site and download the software fromn there. There will also be an "install me first" located there before you actually install the intellipoint software.
Pros Nice lay out, good feel
Cons The keyboard constantly stops responding because it has lost connection to the USB receiver. User constantly has to push the "reset" button on the back of the keyboard
Summary Don't waste your money on this. A simple google search will show the vast number of people who have problems with this keyboard. I would recommend spending your money on a different product.
Pros It is ligth, compact, wireless, don't need to use too much battery and the best for the price and quality!!
Cons None by now
Summary I love This Product I had it from 2007 and is spectacular
Pros Bluetooth connection so easy to setup with included dongle or third party dongle. Key press is right and quiet. Mouse is excellent. Zero problem. Best, and Best of all they use AA batteries, Unlike Logitech Junk rechargeable batteries.
Cons No cons, really. Cons for Logitech using rechargeable batteries that don't hold charge after 6 months. We want wireless, why would we want a messy wire to charge?
Summary Microsoft Entertainment bluetooth keyboard and mouse 7000 is the best. Even 8000 model with the keyboard rechargeable feature is un-necessary. Up to now, this 7000 set is still the best, but you will have to get use to the v-shape curve. I hope the v-shape was adjustable.
