"Easy set-up, works perfect"

4 stars  | on by ericvisa

Pros

Design (especially cover), style, function

Cons

There are cheaper options, but I haven't bothered to try them

To be quite honest, I only got this unit because I also got the Sony Vaio-TX790 notebook computer (complete with docking station) and the Sony MFM-HT205 flat-panel LCD monitor so I figured the Vaio Wireless Keyboard & Mouse was the natural choice. I'm sure I could have got one for slightly cheaper but since this unit hasn't let me down, I'll vouch for it based purely on aesthetics and reliability. I've even forgotten to power down the mouse and keyboard but the batteries seem to have decent life...

"Works great with any XP PC"

3 stars  | on

Pros

Look and feel sleek design and build quality driverless in XP great battery life keyboard and mouse very responsive range is very impressive (at least 25 feet)

Cons

touchpad is not sensitive enough touchpad uses default mouse driver and can not be customized expensive

"Works great with my non-Vaio XP PC"

3.5 stars  | on

Pros

Great range, no interference issues with WiFi or bluetooth, uses built-in XP SP2 drivers (PC doesn't need to be a "Vaio," despite Sony's product descriptions), seemless plug-n-play, keyboard has a great, solid feel.

Cons

Expensive, not bluetooth-compatible, touchpad is not as responsive as I'd like and is not customizable, does not support any special touchpad features beyond tap-to-click, no multimedia buttons.
