"Very un-Brady like equipment, have had nothing but problems"
Pros: Great labeler when it works
Cons: About half the cartridges are not reconized
Summary: The first problem we had was when we were testing the unit after first receiving it. We printed 2 (two) wire labels from a cartridge and exchanged to another cartridge then a few hours later we placed the cartridge back into the label printer and it would not print anything. It fed the label but didn't print. We decided this was probably a defective cartridge. About two weeks later it started printing only about half the message at which time we sent it back for exchange/repair. The new/repaired unit worked fine for a few months but now it will not reconize about one half the 15 cartridges we have. Most of these have been used before and worked fine! I recommend that you do NOT buy this label maker, it prints great labels when it works but the cartridges are EXPENSIVE and don't work reliably.
