"Remember they make their money on the label tape"

3 stars  | on by Joshua Garfinkle

Pros

Quick printing, self cutting, works great. Software is easy to use.

Cons

Cuts off and wastes 1 inch of tape with every print. Since the average label is about 2-3 inches this makes it waste about 30% of your $17-20 label roll.

Easy set up, great functionality, small space. The automatic cutter is really nice. The software is intuitive and easy to use. However it purposely cuts off and wastes 1 inch of label for each and every print. I do not think they are selling many of these, as I called ... Read full review

Easy set up, great functionality, small space. The automatic cutter is really nice. The software is intuitive and easy to use. However it purposely cuts off and wastes 1 inch of label for each and every print. I do not think they are selling many of these, as I called tech support and waited 15 minutes for help, and when they discovered which machine I had they transfered me, 20 minutes later I was told I had to be transfered again, and 12 minutes after that I was informed that Brother programmed the machine to waste 1 inch of tape and that users cannot change that setting. This makes perfect business sense to a company that sells label tape, but is a tremendous waste of resource and money.
