Pros: Great hardware. I've used dozens of these things and their predecessors. All have been very reliable.

Cons: Everything I said in pros was about hardware. Let's talk about software. Believe me when I tell you that I personally had to wait for 3 hours for the software to load. Maybe it was my computer, but judging other peoples reviews, I seriously doubt it.

"Hardware is ok, but this drive is not at all portable."
Pros: Looks nice... but that is about it.
Cons: No software download on the seagate site... you have to contact technical support... which i have done... 3 times...
