It is a nice hard drive, i just installed it in my powerbook and it worked just fine. What i really like is that it is nearly silent, unlike most other 5400 rpm drives. My benchamarkss say my powerbook is 33% faster overall. Great considering the powerboo

This notebook harddrive is excellent. It's amazingly quiet and fast. You can't really hear it spinning up and down.
I was thinking of purchasing the more-expensive Hitachi drive, but ended up buying the Samsung MP0402H instead for A$95.00.
Battery life of my Thinkpad does not suffer, as the Samsung drive uses up around the same amount of power as other brands' 4200RPM drives.
Quiet. Value. Boosted my old Tecra 8100 laptop nicely. Hardisk performance is much more important in older laptops than CPU.
