Pros: Backups are not encoded so you can get to them with your file explorer. 256 AES option. The software is unique, easy to understand, and works! MUCH faster than any other portable USB HD. Doesn't bother you with pop-ups you already know about.

Cons: You need to input your machine user password in order to encrypt. I'm not a big fan of having only one password for important items. Maybe I missed the workaround memo... Not the cheapest choice, maybe you get what you pay for? We'll see.

Summary: Great deal if you are willing to spend an extra 20 or 30 bucks per 500GB. Great GUI software! Does what you tell it to do; no muss, no fuss. Great encryption program - and it doesn't really slow things down much. If I was writing this review a year from now with the same performance as the last six months, I would give it the full five stars.
