  • "Still, fails to satisfy me.."
    on by watto star

Pros Fancy, looks great, makes you want to buy it!

Cons Comes with software, only 111GB

Summary When I purchased this for $120 dollars and took it home, plugged it in and opened, it has all this software. I made a backup copy off everything that was on it then I checked to see how much memory was on it. I right clicked on properties and it said the capacity has 111GB On it but when I deleted all the programs that were on it it still said 111GB on it. But when I installed the Agent tool thing it said It had 120GB.

Unhappy, dont know if my computer or the program is lying to me about the memory,

but i payed and i want my 120GB.

  • "Great compact external drive"
    on by dbeaumont

Pros Small, Fast, Portable, Lightweight, USB Powered

Cons None that I can think of

Summary I was looking for an external drive to replace the harddrive that I converted to an external. I did some research as I wanted a drive that was smaller than my homemade external and I wanted one that was USB powered. I usually am a fan of Iomega, but I decided to step out of the box and go with the Seagate. I have been happy with the performance. It is fast and small enough that I can just put it in my laptop bag and be on my way. I don't have to pack up the bulky power pack as this one is usb powered. I just plug and go. I was able to transfer about 3 gig of music in no time. I like the orange glow as well as the quiet-ness of ths device. I also like the fact that this device is compatable with mac and pc (you will need to format the drive to work with a mac). I would also recommend a hard case cover to store the Free Agent in. I am pleased with my purchase.
