"Back light problems, but a work horse"
Pros: this model has everything i wanted and performs great when the monitor is working. this was the perfect replacement to my desktop, i thought. luckily it's still under warrenty.
Cons: the monitor has gone "dark" on me twice since i've owned it now in less than a full year. this is the exact problem i had about 9 months ago 3 months after i purchased it.

"The Editor And Reviewer ARE MORONS, a few corrections..."
Pros: It is NOT a pentium-M processor as you state right below your benchmark results, first of all. It's a pentium 4 3.0ghz extreme edition PRESCOTT processor. Secondly, the editor states that it's for standard use, spreadsheets etc. Give me a break. This th

Pros: It has all the power u can dream of for laptop.
Cons: It broke in less than 6 months. Their international warrantee is very unreliable as repair office listed in Jpn is no longer active. I finally found Acer repair center in JPN but the laptop was so messed up that they said they had to change motherboard
