"2 Words: STAY AWAY"
Pros: Great wireless setup
Cons: Too many to mention. Read below
Summary: This 'thing' is powerful, yes, but it's noisier than a beefed up desktop and hotter than flowing lava.
The screen conveniently lasts 12 months. Mine went 'dark' (about 20% of its normal brightness) 2 months after the warranty expired.
In my opinion this product was created by an overly ambitious design team trying to give the consumer too much with non viable mobile technologies. Never again I will buy a notebook with a desktop CPU. Simply put, the heat generated by this monster cooks all the components to a crisp over a short period of time. I will not recommend the Acer Aspire 1710.
