"Super thin laptop that is affordable but elegant." on by Fyorastar
Pros: Classy,Stylish,Super thin, Long life battery and at the right price.
Cons: none actually, because it's affordable you can't expect it to be like the apple.
Summary: Not a mac killer but it has a good and affordable price for everday use. Not to mention it's stylish elegance. I bought one and I have no regrets. I love it!

"Slim, light, fast, beatiful, cheap, but so-so graphics" on by Indydoc
Pros: The optical drive tray is flimsy and there is a gap between the drive bay door and lower housing. It's slim, quite fast, light and has excellent sound - all for $899. I would've payed $1800 for it .
Cons: Drive door does not click flush to housing.
Needs a better video card, but for $899 what do you want ??Summary: You can buy this and a Macbook 13 inch for the price of the Adamo and both will be faster than the Adamo. I would agree with Dan Ackerman's review. It looks feels and performs like a much more expensive laptop.

"Some of the reviewer didn't even buy this Acer laptop" on by tuongn2005
Pros: MAC only hold 10% world wide market and will stay flat for years to come. So what is good with MAC?
Cons: These MAC reviewers are bias when they heard the word "MAC KILLERS"
Summary: Go Acer, kill the MAC

"Macbook Killer?" on by Waam
Pros: Cheap! thats good
Cons: Still doesn't run Mac OS
Summary: When will cnet know that the only way you are going to really have a Macbook killer is when there is another laptop thats not only better, but also runs MAC OS? Somebody who is looking for a Mac will always get a mac over PC. This laptop should worry other smaller notebook manufacturers though.
