"Macbook Killer?"
Pros: Cheap! thats good
Cons: Still doesn't run Mac OS
Summary: When will cnet know that the only way you are going to really have a Macbook killer is when there is another laptop thats not only better, but also runs MAC OS? Somebody who is looking for a Mac will always get a mac over PC. This laptop should worry other smaller notebook manufacturers though.

Well it is cheaper, but does it make it a "killer". There are a lot of cheap laptops and if you want or need less performance than a Macbook, like Acer customer support and want a disposable laptop, this one is for you.

It does in fact run OS X. Of course it can. Why do people keep writing this stuff.... Why do you think Apple is in the middle of a lawsuit to block a company from selling you a custom machine with OS X installed... Apple put a provision in it's EULA that essentially says you are in violation of the license if you install OS X on hardware not sold to you by Apple. Whether you think OS X is the best OS ever or not you'd be hard pressed not to admit this is a questionable practice for a software company. Listen, I get it. You like OS X. I like OS X too, it's a good OS. But... it's not That much better than any other OS to be worth the premium. But my post is not to begin an OS argument, just to point out that there is a whole culture of people out there who do in fact run OS X on non-Macs.

Mac OS sucks. Thats why Laptops which are cheaper, more powerful and run windows are way better than Mac.
And I still think Apple little fanboys must grow up ;)
